With 600 megs of space and six gigabytes of bandwidth per month, Freebee Hosting seems like an average free hosting company. According to their product page, they also provide FTP and email accounts for your site, although they don’t list how many of each. They also seem to be using the lastest version of Apache, PHP, and MySQL (which you manage with phpMyAdmin). They also state that they provide Zend Encoder and Ion Cube support, this is great because some free software require these encoders to run. You are allowed five parked, addon and/or sub domains with your account, which should be more than enough for most start up sites. This will allow you to have a blog.sitename.com or forum.sitename.com, which is very useful for your visitors to remember. Freebee also provides a script installer, but they don’t provide any information on what software you can install, instead they use generic information, like forums, blogs, and wikis. Tracking your site’s stats with Freebee should be simple, since there are two different tracking software provided, AwStats and Webalizer, both are common in the industry.
When signing up, one thing that Freebee request, that most other hosting sites, is that you explain what you are going to be using the hosting for. At first this may seem like they are trying to spy on you, but they are responsible for the material on their servers. This maybe a way to control what goes on their server, and it could also provide them with information which effect purchasing new hardware. It also seems like you will need your own domain before registering with Freebee. If you don’t have a domain that is okay, Freebee does provide free co.cc domains on their home page.
Most of the features that Freebee offers is on par with what other free hosts offer. There are some differences, like some sites offer more storage space, but Freebee also offers free domains. If you are looking for a host to fine tune some ideas you have for a site, or to start building a reputation for a larger site, then Freebee seems like a great hosting start with.

I’ve just started with free bee hosting and i have never seen a free host with so many features. They offer installatron (http://installatron.com/) for script installs. Email and ftp accounts are limited to 2 but they seem happy to add more if needed.
Overall a great host and i highly recommend them.

I went searching for a free web host and I actually found very reliable hosting at an extremely competitive rate. The best part is they offer compensation, this way I don’t have to come out of pocket too much for the products that I need. I actually come out on top every month which in my opinion is 10x better than free.
